Daughter of Rein Goos and Jan Mazereeuw, Corrie was born June 12, 1937 in Grootebroek, Netherlands and passed away suddenly on May 4th 2016. Corrie moved to Canada in 1956 where she met her late husband Frederic Fozo. She is survived by her daughter Reinie Jackson and two grandchildren, Corrie and Kyle, as well as her brothers Jack, Jan and Ron Mazereeuw and sister Mea Madgwick. Corrie loved and supported all those around her. She cared deeply for family and friends and would offer whatever was needed. She often showed her care and love of family in gifts of knitted sweaters, needlepoint and in the later years, watercolour paintings. All are welcome for a service on Friday, May 13th, 2016 at Wall-Custance Funeral Home, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph at 2:00 pm, and a reception from 2:30 - 4:00 pm.
A tree will be planted in memory of Corrie Fozo in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm.
