August 5, 1928 - March 10, 2018

Born in Springboig, Scotland. Loving husband to Helen for 66 years. Loving father to Irene, Catherine and Peter. Is predeceased by his son Peter. Father-In-Law to Fred Wipplinger and Paul Pedersen. Grandfather to Eric Pedersen and Keri Kasaboski, Great Grandfather to Matthew Threlfall-Kasaboski. One of four brothers Tom, Charlie, Donald and his twin Peter. Predeceased by all of his brothers. Donald immigrated to Canada with his family in 1957. He worked as a machine tool fitter throughout his career and eventually had his own machine tool business until his retirement. After retiring became an avid snowbird and spent many winters in Florida.

Throughout his life his favourite hobbies included golfing, curling, playing pool, and horse racing.

Donald always enjoyed a good time with friends and family. He loved to have a wee dram of scotch, always liked to participate in a sing song, and knew his way around the dance floor.

When Donald was 80, he suffered a debilitating stroke. We were told he would probably not survive. With extraordinary courage he battled his way back and was able to live a happy fulfilled life back home with Helen.

Our family was fortunate to have such a fun-loving, considerate husband and father.

On parting ways with anyone, he would always say, "If I don't see you through the week, I'll see you through the window." ...... Don

We will miss him more than words can say.

A gathering to celebrate Don's life will be held at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Donald P. Fraser in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
