GEMIN, Armida

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Village of Riverside Glen on August 16, 2016 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife to Bruno (1994) for 45 years. Loving mother of Joseph and his wife Colleen, Nancy and her husband Luciano Favaro, both of Guelph; and Lori Ann and her husband Bruno Bagneres of North Vancouver, B.C. Loving Nonna of Joshua, Jessica, and Matthew Gemin, Marc, Kayla, and Leanna Favaro, and Luc and Logan Bagneres. Predeceased by her siblings Maria, Fosca, Anneta, Giovanina, Giovanni, Pierina, Mose, and Celestina, and her parents Giuseppe and Erminia Stangherlin. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, for visitation on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with a vigil at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. followed by burial at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
