With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a loving husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend in his 56th year. Beloved husband and best friend for 29 years to Connie (Goetz). Cherished father of Mandy and Jesse. Dear brother to Jackie General (George) and the late Kevin General (Harv 2000). Dear son in law to Bill Goetz and the late Betty Goetz (2011). Brother-in-law to Andy Goetz (Gator). Special Uncle to Bryce and Cameron Goetz. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A lover of life, he took every opportunity to make you smile, or bust out a joke (if he could remember the punch line). We will remember you every minute of every day in everything we do. Gone but never forgotten. In our hearts forever.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph for visitation on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 12-1 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
