GILL, Mitchell Adam

May 1, 1988-May 18, 2018 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Mitchell Adam Gill suddenly on May 18, 2018 after a long illness. He leaves behind his grieving mother, Kelly Anne Meckling and her partner David Courtney, his heartbroken father, Jon Jo Gill and step-mother, Mechelle Gill, and his devastated little brother, Spencer Russell Gill. Mitchell was born in Toronto Ontario and though he moved back and forth across the country several times, was a steadfast Leafs and Blue Jays fan. Mitchell started cooking in Elora when he was 14 and eventually completed Culinary Management at Georgian College in Barrie. He was a truly lovely soul and cared passionately for his family and friends. He loved to play video games and watch MMA with his brother, golf and cook with his dad and spend time at his mom’s cottage fishing with Dave. He was so loved and will be terribly missed.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 12- 2 p.m. A Celebration of Mitchell’s Life will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home fellowship Lounge. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to:
