Peacefully in her 80th year, surrounded by family, at the Juravinski Hospital on Sunday, May 22nd after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by husband Fred (2006), daughter Cheryl (1977) and son Randy (1958). Survived by her children Bryan (Stacie), Steven (Nellie), Sue (Rob), Cindy (Jim) and Rick. Dear Nana of Sara (Greg), Megan, Sasha and Alicia. Beloved great Nana of Blake and Hunter. Will be missed by brother Bob (Sharon) of Guelph and sister Eileen of Calgary. Cherished by Maggie, Chloe & Kelsey. A special thanks to the nurses and caregivers of unit F5, especially Roleane for her care and compassion in Mom’s final hours. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, May 27 from 11:00 a.m. until noon. A service to celebrate Marguerite’s life will be held the funeral home chapel at 12:00 noon. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to Zachary’s Paws for Healing or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
