Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2017, in his 97th year, with his family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of 72 years to Dora (nee Cockerill). Loved father of Larry (Debbie), Cheryl, and Steve (Nancy). Cherished grandfather of Dean, Wayne, Lorraine, Terra, Jessica, Joel, Amanda and nine great grandchildren. Dear brother of Alec (the late Ethel). Predeceased by brother Hugh (Kay) and sister Daisy (Don) Tims. Wally was a proud veteran of WWII, having served overseas in Normandy. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
