Grant Mary MM

With great sadness we announce the passing of Mary on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in her 64th year.   Daughter of the late John and Irene Mac Donald of Ennotville and loving sister of Linda Legate, Ann Coffey (Tom), Joanne Mac Donald (Reg Main) and Andy Mac Donald (Melissa). Missed by Samuel (Kristy) Legate, Nicholas Legate, Cory Main, Dana (Eivind) Main, and Shane Mac Donald.   Predeceased by brother (John) Sandy, sister-in-law Rosemary and brother-in-law Lloyd.

Mary studied Interior Decorating at Fanshawe College and did graphic designs for Drimmies in Elora.  She had a keen eye for detail and used that skill designing Kitchens for Bay Kitchen Gallery in Belleville.  Mary will be remembered for her love of Antiques and Collectibles.  She took great pleasure in finding a treasure that had been overlooked by others at a yard sale or a Fleamarket. It was rare for her to miss a Sunday stroll through the Aberfoyle Antique Market or the Christies Antiques and Vintage Shows.

Friends and family will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Sunday, February 26th from 1 - 2 pm, with service to follow at 2 pm.  There will be a reception after the service in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand River Cancer Centre or Hospice Wellington.

A tree will be planted in memory of Mary I. Grant in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
