Ivan passed away peacefully, at Hospice Wellington on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the age of 90. Beloved husband for 62 years of Una Grinyer who passed April 3, 2011. Loving father of Jennifer Anne (Dieter Werner) and Michael John (Stephanie). Dear grandfather of Mark Werner, Andrew Grinyer and Catherine Grinyer and great grandfather of Ethan John Grinyer. Survived by his sisters June, Barbara and Susan.
Ivan was a member of the Royal Microscopical Society and a pioneer in the field of electron microscopy. He was known for his love of classical music, clocks, wild birds and woodworking.
A private family service will take place at Farnham Cemetery.
