GRISTEY, Leasa May

Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre following a battle with cancer on Monday, October 23, 2017, at the age of 43. 
Beloved wife of Nino DeNardis. Loved mother of Sharrisa Fleming. Cherished grandmother of Luvenyx Panneton-Fleming. Beloved daughter of Mervin (Kathy) Gristey and Shannon (Art) Howell. Dear sister of Scott (Karen) McCormack, Roddy Wrice, Jerry (Vickie) Machen, and JJ (Crystal) Gristey. Will be sadly missed by her stepmother Pat Gristey, her aunt Sherri (Dave) Henderson, aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her Mom/Grandma June Machen (2009), her aunt Dawn Karn (2002), her grandfather Mervyn Gristey Sr. (1984) and grandmother Georgina Gristey (2014). 

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A celebration of Leasa’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
