Passed away peacefully, with family by her side at Hospice Wellington, Guelph on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the age of 59 years. She was the beloved wife of Bruce. Proud and loving mother of Courtney. Dear sister of Anthony Goetz and the late Harry Goetz (2009). Monica was the much loved daughter of the late Anton and Barbara Goetz. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family extends a special “Thank you” to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Guelph General Hospital, Bayshore, CBI and Hospice Wellington. “Your kindness, caring and compassion will always be remembered”. Friends may call at GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph for a memorial visitation from 1 -3 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21. A Celebration of Life to honour Monica will take place at the chapel on Thursday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. The family will then attend a private burial of cremated remains at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
