Of Guelph, originally from Bell Island Newfoundland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and close friends on Saturday, November 18th, 2017, in his 83rd year.
Beloved husband of Marilyn. Loved father of Michael (Kellie) and the late James Hammond (2011) (Liana). Grandad to Jennifer, Michael, Nicholas and Alexander. Great granddad to Sheldon. Dear brother of Kay, the late Bill, the late Jean, Pauline, the late Finton, the late Edward, Cynthia and John. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, November 24th, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph. A reception to follow in the church hall.
