Pat passed on to her heavenly home on November 23rd, 2017 in Guelph, ON after a lengthy battle against cancer. Born on April 18th, 1953 in New Westminster to Park and Lily Wing, she is survived by her 3 sons, Nathan (Michelle), John and David, grandson Spencer, her sister Lila and brothers, Cedric and Bob (Carolyn), along with nieces, nephews and cousins galore.
Pat possessed a boundless energy and love that she channeled toward her family, friends, support of the arts and fundraising as a longtime volunteer with the Guelph Jazz Festival and the New Democratic Party.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Hood and the staff at the Hospice Wellington for the excellent care and attention they gave our beloved Pat. Also, thanks to her son, John, for his help in her care and to her many friends who blessed her with their visits and expressions of love.
The Celebration of Life will be held at Kortright Presbyterian Church, 55 Devere Drive in Guelph on Thursday, December 7th, 2017 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, you can make donations to Hospice Wellington or to a charity of your choice.
