Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of Patricia Hayward. Loved father of Richard (Patricia) Hayward and Robin Hayward (Ryan Whiteside). Dear brother of Ethel (Bert) Abbott, Roy (Alma) Hayward, Gladys Peddle, Lloyd (Mary) Hayward, Phyllis (Greg) Burnand and Marlene (Ted) Abbott. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cyril was a former driver with the TTC for 28 years.
A memorial celebration will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Cyril T. Hayward in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
