It is with great sorrow that the family of David Heffernan announces his passing at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday October 18,2018, due to complications from his struggle with cancer. He will be forever missed by his wife Debra Charbonneau, daughter Lauren, son-in-law Ezequiel and loving mom Barbara. He will be sadly missed by his siblings: Jack (Beth), Terry (Jan), Mike (Shelly), Dan, Cathy and brother in law Bill. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews Jeremy, Dale, Liam and Conner plus his many friends and relatives. He is now at peace with no pain alongside his son Shawn and loving father Leonard.
Friends and family may come to GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Wednesday October 24, 2018, for the visitation at 10 am or for the Service of Remembrance at 11 am. After the service, there will be a celebration for friends and family at David and Debra's home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital “MRI”.
