Born January 5, 1934 in Bellshill, Scotland. Passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Sunday, March 27, at the age of 82. Dearly beloved wife of Leo Henneberry for 59 years. Married at Immaculate Conception Church in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on July 28, 1956. Predeceased by her parents John (1974) and Mary Lynch (nee Daly) (1965). Loving mother to Debra and her husband Roger Powell, Leanne and her husband Jeff Knol, David Henneberry and his wife Barb. Predeceased by her two sons Paul (1980) and Brian (2014). Loved sister of Maureen Morrison, William Lynch and his wife Betty, and John “Jack” Lynch. Predeceased by her brother Felix Lynch (1981) and sister Kathleen Laughlin (2014). Cherished grandmother to Jennifer (Scott Shannon), Paul Piluk (Angie), Kori Henneberry, Shelby Bond and Dave, Janet and Jack Henneberry. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren, Jadyn and Tyson Piluk, Kyler and Brycen Shannon. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a switchboard operator for 25 years until her retirement in 1994 – a job she loved which held many fond memories for her. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Thanks go out to the 7th floor medical staff at the Guelph General Hospital at to St. Joseph’s Whispering Oaks Unit for their special care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
