HICKS, Eleanor Anne

It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Eleanor Anne Hicks, nee MacLeod , on Jan. 10th at Wellington Terrace in Fergus, Ontario.
Eleanor is survived by Lloyd, her loving husband of 59 years; also by their three children, John ( Mimie ), Peter and Jane. She is also survived by her sister Miriam and was predeceased by sister Christene. Eleanor took greatest joy in their 5 grandchildren , Morgan, Katie, Ellie, Emma and Matthew. She loved them dearly.
The family wishes to express their utmost appreciation to the staff at Wellington Terrace for their compassionate care of Eleanor over the past 5 months.

A memorial service for Eleanor will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 99 Woolwich St. Guelph, on Tues. Jan.16th at 11 AM, reception in the church, will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. George’s Anglican Church, Wellington Terrace or The Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario.
