Of Guelph, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, May 2, 2016, in his 80th year. Survived by common-law wife Stephanie Kemsley and family. Will be sadly missed by daughter Natasha (Marc) McCarthy and her mother Lori Holder, daughters Donna (Steven) Ruttan, Janell Holder, Anne (Ivan) Ayr, son Ron (Linda) Holder and their mother the late Roma Holder. Loving grandfather of many grandkids and great grandkids. Dear brother of Donald Balforth. Predeceased by daughter Cindy Holder, stepson Andrew Tait, sister Patricia Drury and brothers Allan and John Holder.
A memorial visitation will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ronald A. Holder in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm.
