Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on December 18, 2017, in his 69th year. He was a beloved husband of Sharon, the father of Robin (Tim), Tracy (Bruce), Sharon (Dave), Cindy (Pat), Susan (Jeff) and a proud Poppa to 11 grandchildren. The visitations will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Wayne S. Holt in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
