Passed away suddenly at the age of 35 on Friday, June 28, 2019 at her home in Kitchener, Ontario. She is survived by her children Jamal, Christian and Aaliyah, her mother Sharon Hood (the late Paul Hood), her brother Jody Hood, nieces Lauren and Allycea, nephews Issiak and Evan, her sister Lyndsay Hood, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Our family is overwhelmed with all of the love and support from everyone.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 1:30-2:30 pm. A service to celebrate Chandra’s life will be held at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Chandra L. Hood in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
