HOPKINS, Rex

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rex Hopkins on October 30, 2018 at the Guelph General Hospital. 

Rex was predeceased by Margaret (2013) his beloved wife of 54 years.

He was the loving father of Phyllis Anne (deceased), David (Joan) and Ian (Amanda).

Cherished grandad of Brian, Claire, Sarah, Lohgan and Sophie and dear brother of David and Keith.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration to commemorate Rex's life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St., N, on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2 - 4 p.m. If so desired, donations to the Guelph General Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. 

Thanks to the staff at Arbour Trails, Dr. Bier and the Emergency Room Staff at Guelph General and special thanks to Dora and the nurses on 5 West of the General for all their exceptional care.
