Suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Centre, Southampton on Sunday Oct. 29, 2017, at 78 years of age. Husband of the late Jackie (Maki) Hurst (2011). Dear father of Kathy Howey (Ken) of Guelph and Richard Hurst of Woodstock. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Matt, Brett, Amanda and Alexander. Loved brother of Pat Brattain (Jack) of Tillsonburg and the late Brian Hurst. Jack was a proud Guelph Firefighter for over 34 years where he retired as a Platoon Chief.
