John (Jack) Thomas Hutchinson, 87 of Belwood, Ontario passed away on September 27, 2018, after playing a great game of golf, the second love of his life.
Jack is survived by the first love of his life, his wife, Madeline Hutchinson (nee Marcello), his children John Hutchinson, Debra Jansen, and Jodi (Rob) Lewis, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grand-children, his siblings Pearl (Bob) Jonah and Jim (Marge) Hutchinson, and many nephews and nieces.
Jack was born in Kamloops, British Columbia to John Thomas Hutchinson and Winnifred (Winnie) Margaret Hutchinson (nee Lane) on August 13, 1931. He had many hobbies that he enjoyed which included Golfing, RVing, Puzzles, Music (playing numerous instruments) and Reading.
Jack and Madeline recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
Jack will be remembered as a man of integrity, for his dry humour, his love for family and friends, his love of British Columbia, his music and his ability to outplay men and women half his age in golf.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the helpful friends & neighbours of Pine Meadows Retirement Community, the first responders, and the staff at Groves Memorial Community Hospital for their compassion and care.
A Funeral service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 675 Victoria Terrace, Fergus, Ontario on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
