INCLEDON, Michael Francis

Posted

Incledon MM

September 12, 1938 – December 31, 2021

“Love”, Dad, Cu, My Big Brother Mike, Dr. Mike, The Colonel, Chief, “Cliff”, Friend, Teacher, Mentor, Neighbour.

Birds, rugby, tea, tomatoes, jubee jubes, music, his garden, “A” Stack, the Globe ‘n Mail, a potted palm, fires, stories, slideshows.

Brave, selfless, caring, rock, legend, service, love, quiet, strong, unfailing.

He is the kind of guy who, after having his teeth kicked out by the boot of a teammate during a rugby match, he shook his hand and said, “good game”. There were no hard feelings – he later even allowed him to date his sister.

To Dad “love” is an action. It is simply a state of being shown through unfailing service to his family, his friends, his community, and to every and any person who ever walked through his “doctor doors” across four continents and sixty years. He gave his love, his commitment, and his absolute best.

With infinite love, Dove, Mel, Bev, Nath, Tom, Chantal (#6), Christina, Ethan, Rhys, Eden, and his partner in politics Bryan.

Due to Covid-19, no immediate service will be held. A gathering in Michael’s honour will be held on June 25, 2022 with details to be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tom and Nathan Incledon Memorial Award at the Guelph Community Foundation: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/7868.
