JACKSON, Jeanne Calder – nee Murray

Jeanne Jackson of Rockwood, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 13th in her 93rd year. 

Predeceased by her husband and best friend George W. Jackson. Loving and devoted mother of Margie (Wayne) Michalski, Bob (Laurie), James (Linda), Carolynne (Bob) Askin, Andrew (Nadine), Douglas, and Sheila (Paul) Elder. She will be remembered with much love by her grandchildren Elizabeth & Chris, Michael & Jen, Bill &Gail, Ben & Cyndi, Katie, Brad & Amanda, David & Christina, April & Jeff, Rob, Christopher & Jamie, Paul & Katie, Alex & Jasmine, Steven & Jessica, Christopher, Joseph & Lori, Naomi & Nick, Montana, Jeffery, Adam, and Sam. Also remembered by her great grandchildren, Ethan, Lucas, Nicholas, Katie, Matthew, Jakob, Eric, Connor, Nathan, Sophie, Rowan, Madeline, Brady, Jamie, Cooper, Wesley, Grace, Olivia, Malakai, Lena, Charlotte, Lily, and Tanner. 

Jeanne was predeceased by her father Hugh, mother Margaret, daughter Margie, and brother’s Robert and John. 

Jeanne graduated from Toronto Western Hospital as a Registered Nurse and helped develop the curriculum for the first community college level RPN program. She was a determined woman with a thirst for knowledge and a passion for family and community. 

She will be DEEPLY missed by ALL.

Friends and family will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service for Jeanne will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
