Passed away peacefully, in her 76th year, at Hospice Wellington with family by her side on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Jill Ilene (Geddes) Jessop beloved wife of Wayne for 53 years. Loving mother of Gayle Jessop (Jeff Dafoe), and Leigh Cappadocio (Neno). Cherished ”Grandma” of Liam, Carson, Alicia and Kelly. Lovingly remembered by many other family members and friends. Jill was a dedicated teacher for many years with several school boards throughout Ontario. She had a passion for music, movies, travel and the outdoors. A special thank you to the staff at the Guelph General Hospital, the Grand River Hospital, Hospice Wellington, and Mike and Deanna from Bayshore. She will be greatly missed.
Friends and family are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, for a memorial service on Friday, October 21st, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Private interment of ashes at Coningsby Cemetery, Erin. In lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington would be greatly appreciated by the family.
