Passed away peacefully at the Elliott Community, Guelph, on Wednesday June 21, 2017. Carol (nee Haas) Johnson was 94 years young and was the beloved wife of the late Red (Lt. Col. Henry Sylvester) Johnson and the cherished mother of Warren (Johnson), Trudy (Kocal) and Ken (Johnson). Carol was also a loved grandmother and great-grandmother. The family wishes to sincerely thank the Elliott Community for their exceptional tenderness and care of Carol. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Ottawa, Ontario at 10am on Saturday, July 22. Interment will follow at the Beechwood Cemetery where Carol will be laid to rest with her husband, Red. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
