JOHNSTON, Doris Leola (nee Goetz)

Died peacefully, with her family by her side, at St. Joseph’s Health
Centre, Guelph, on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Doris Johnston, in her 97th
year, was survived by her children, Dolores Johnston, Mary Purdy, Michael
Johnston and Peter Johnston. She is also survived by four grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren and by her sister Rita Tefft (Eugene) and her
family in Los Angeles, California. Doris was predeceased by her daughter
Louise (2006), by sons John (2016) and James (2016) and by her
granddaughter Jennifer Connor (2018).
A private family service was held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral
Home, Dublin Chapel, followed by entombment at Our Lady Immaculate
Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy,
donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the
