Passed away peacefully at age 90, on April 7th, 2016. Predeceased by mother Zofia and father Jon Juchnik of Poland. Will be sadly missed by beloved wife of 65 years Arna (nee Bryggari) of Norway. Loved father of Ann (Duncan) MacDougall, Deanna Juchnik and Rita Juchnik and the late Joseph Andrew Juchnik. Dear grandfather of Angie, Allan, Steven, Krista and Tyler and great grandfather of Chesa, Shaelyn, and Kiera. Dear brother to Helena (Waclaw) Szlawieniec, Chester (Marianna) Juchnik of Guelph, ON, Walerian (Bronislawa) Juchnik, Wladyslawa Juchnik and Alfreda (Tadeusz) Zebrowski of Poland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
