Passed into the loving arms of God with her family at her side on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018. She was the dearly beloved wife of the late Art Keating (1990), survived by her children Mark (Delilah), Larry (Geraldine), Lori (Dino), Margaret (Garry), Art (My Linh), Bill, daughter-in-law Melanie, by her grandchildren Jessica (Ryan), Sarah (Rob), Aaron, Adam, Taylor (Carlo), Reid, Sydney, Anthony, Brayden, Jorden, Conner, Austen, and by her in-laws Bob and Eleanor Keating, and Mary Nadalin. She will be dearly missed by good friends Terry and Betty, along with her many friends at her apartment on Waterloo Avenue, as well as many
nieces and nephews who she treasured so much.

Teena was predeceased by her parents Bernardino and Eliza, by her sisters Bin (Gerry) Trimble, Lil (George) Kelford, Dolly (Odone) Piovesan, by her brothers Fip, Leno (Edith), Johnny (Mary Lou), by her in-laws Barbara (Larry) Matthews, Dorothy (John) Oliver, Harold (Edith) Keating, Stan (Eileen) Keating, Lloyd (Marion) Keating, Bill (Marie) Keating, by her nieces Donna Doogan-Wallace, Sharon Reidner, Kim Chelli, by her nephews John Chelli Jr., Chris Chelli, and by her granddaughter Jennifer.

A gentle, beautiful, giving spirit, Teena was loved by all who had been in her life. Kind-hearted and caring, she embodied all that is good. She was truly a gift to us all, and it was her mission from God to show each of us a model of how we should love and care for each other. A bundle of energy, even in her later years, she helped others, was fiercely independent, and never wanted for herself. Since her husband’s passing, Teena spent the past twenty-eight years helping others, and, after a life so well-lived, is where she wants to be, re-united with him in Heaven.

Special thanks to Dr. Alexopoulos, Dr. Wesley-James, Dr. Rachakonda, Dr. Dore and Dr. Morrison, the caring nurses and staff at Guelph General Hospital, and everyone at Hospice Wellington for their outstanding love and support.

Visitation at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at a later date. And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time. Matt 28:20
