My beautiful, beloved, awesome Mom, passed away peacefully yesterday, July 10th at 12:00 noon, at Guelph General Hospital, after a stay of over two weeks. She just couldn't regain her footing. The nurses and doctors while professional, were SO patient, kind and compassionate. Our good friends Debbie and Tonya helped maintain a constant vigil at her bedside. Thank you from the bottom of our very grateful hearts. Mom was blessed with a very healthy life for 92 years. My father, John Kelly, passed away five years ago, and Mom moved from 38th Street in West Toronto to Mini Lakes, near Guelph, so Patrick and I could be close to keep an eye on her (or was she keeping an eye on us). Mom grew to love her new area, making new friends and even becoming the local Scrabble champion! She could out think me and certainly out grocery shop me most times, until discovering two months ago there were some major issues with her heart. After that, her health steadily declined, but not her sense of humour and love. Mom became "Mom" to my husband Patrick, Debbie Boland, and Tanya Martin. We will keep each memory of our precious Mom close to our hearts forevermore. God Bless you as you journey on.
