It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elsie Kiryluk on December 13th, 2018, in her 84th year. She will be missed dearly by family and friends. Elsie Ann (nee Peniuk) Kiryluk of Guelph, wife of Terry Kiryluk, mother of John (Tina) Kiryluk, Jody (Ian) Haras, and Janet Kiryluk. Loving Baba to Jocelyn, Cheyanne and Colin.
Elsie worked at the University of Guelph- food services, proudly making pizzas for over 38 years. Her loves in her life were her husband, children, grandchildren, various pets over the years and the family cottage at Sauble Beach which she often referred to as heaven on earth. Elsie was also very passionate about cooking and feeding others, and she loved singing to country music.
Many thanks to the critical care nurses and doctors at the Guelph General Hospital for excellent care.
The family will receive friends at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Elsie’s life and funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:30 am. Followed by the burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 762 Woolwich St, Guelph. Please join the family for a light lunch at Wall-Custance following the service and burial.
