KNISCHEWSKY, Willard

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow of the passing of our dad on Friday, February 16th, 2018. At the age of 82. 

Whom he joined with his loving wife Maryann Knischewsky (Nee Steinke) 2003. Beloved dad of Colleen (Jeff), Marlene (Fred) and Timothy Knischewsky of Kitchener. Willie had 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

He is predeceased by his parents Louis and Emma Knischewsky (Nee Oswald) and sisters Stella (Kehl), Francis Gooding, Gladys Zettle, Jean Jankura, Laura Kieswetter, and infant sister Mildred. Brothers, Milton and Lincoln Knischewsky. Survived by sisters, Sally Farquar, Marieta (Ed Eckert) and brother Leslie (Lucy) Knischewsky. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Willard was an employee of Lazy Boy in Waterloo and the Simmons Factory in Fergus. Willard was a resident of Columbia Forest LTC. 

We appreciate all of the loving care of all who came into his life over the years (CCAC). All our love Chilly Willie. 

Family and friends may gather at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 617 King Street North, Waterloo on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 from 2:00pm- 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made in Willard’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
