Passed away peacefully in her 77th year at Hospice Wellington on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Beloved wife and best friend of Doug Lace for 35 years. Dear mother of Sandra (Greg), Donna and Karen (Tim) and step-mother to Jennifer (Wayne) and Gord (Janet). Special grandmother to Justin (Sondra), Emily (Scott), Faith, Caitlyn, Nick, Chad, Madison and Kody and great-grandmother to Julia. Loving sister of Howard (Maureen) and Glen (Barbara) and aunt to Brian, Stephen, Kevin (Alicia) and Kyla (Tyler) and great-aunt to Byron. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, March 1st from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. A celebration of Clarine’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be much appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Clarine V. Lace in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
