Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Village of Riverside Glen on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Beloved wife of E. Stephen Larter (2013). Loved mother of Janice Husson of Guelph and the late Bob Larter (1982). Grandma will be sadly missed by Christopher (Angela) Husson, and Anissa Larter (Cam Hunter). Great grandma to Emma and Sadie.

Dear sister to Ken (Betty) McGillivray, Liz (Adam) Panchyshyn, Gladys (the late Ron) Robson, Nancy McGillivray (Steven Witherspoon). Also missed by sister-in-law Helen McGillivray. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Marie Burrows and George McGillivray. Stephen and Betty Lou lived for many years on the family farm on County Rd. 51. Betty was a charter member of Westminster St. Paul’s Church and was a member of the Guelph Township Horticultural Society.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Sunday, January 14 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Westminster-St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 206 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private family interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.

A tree will be planted in memory of Betty L. Larter in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
