LILLEY, (Georgia) Ann - RN

Posted

On October 17, 2016 in Guelph, the family and friends of Ann Lilley lost one of their favourites. The daughter of John and Georgie Lilley, Ann was raised in Copper Cliff, ON and did her nurses training in Sault Ste. Marie. She spent most of her nursing career at hospitals in Toronto and Guelph, but a world traveller at heart, she ventured to Australia where she worked as a nursing sister for a couple of years. Always open to meeting new people, Ann added a number of her Ozzie mates to her group of lifelong friends. Ann will be missed by her aunt Viv and cousins Joyce, Bonnie, Nancy, Keith, Gary, Chuck, Cliff, Cynthia, Craig, Georgina, Carolyn Jane and their families. She will also be remembered by her supportive network of cherished friends, such as her second family, Leigh and Bill, their family and a host of others. Cremation has taken place through the Wall-Custance Funeral Home. Messages and inquiries may be directed to their website. www.WallCustance.com Email: [email protected] A few of Ann’s special causes were women in crisis and animal protection. Ann invites her family and friends to a party to be held November 26th. Details to be confirmed.
A tree will be planted in memory of G. Ann Lilley in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
