Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late David Ramsay Limebeer (2006). Daughter of the late Cecil and Mabel Irving (nee Leslie). Loved mother of Diane (Ron) Zinger and Bill Limebeer. Cherished grandmother of David Parkinson and Veronica Zinger. Dear sister of Les (Blanche) Irving and the late Marion Irving. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Skip made friends wherever she went, and loved photography, bird-watching, gardening and attending the local Fall Fairs.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Memorial contributions to the Guelph Enabling Garden or S.O.A.R (Songbirds Only Avian Rehabilitation) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Laura M. (Skip) Limebeer in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
