Of Guelph, formerly of Watford, passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace on Saturday, February 4, 2017, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen M. Brandenburg (2008). Loved father of Lloyd (Wendy) of Southampton, Kevin (Robbin) of Elora and the late Carol Ann Miller (1990) and the late Todd Owen Lovell (1965). Loving grandfather of Sara (Tim), Stacy (Matt), Joshua (Sarah), Kristen (Kevin), Lucas (Lauren) and Matthew (Ashley). Great grandfather to Andrew, Roslyn, Lochlan, Madeline, Jordan and Jackson. Dear brother to Beth (the late Jack), Grace (Bruce) and Keith (Gwen).
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. (Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). A public interment service will be held at the Watford Cemetery on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Burton Lovell in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
