Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Leslie MacMillan in 1985 and her son Donny MacMillan in 1997. Loving mother of Wendy Gottmers (Fred), Karen Boyd (David), Brenda Bauman (Dennis) and David MacMillan (Amanda). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ashley (Emily), Alexandria (Patrick), Russell (Stephanie), Marisa (Darryl), Jordan (Nicole) and Anna. Caring great grandmother to Frederick. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her longtime friend of 82 years Jean Oakman. Memorial Service for Dorothy will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 171 Queen St. East in Fergus, on Monday, April 10th, 2017 at 11:00am, with visitation from 10:00am. Memorial donations can be directed to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
