Passed away peacefully at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge on Monday, September 19, 2016, with his beloved wife of 54 years, Bernice, by his side. Walter will be laid to rest in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, where he helped run the family business (The Plantation Hotel). He was the son of Horace and Gladys Cope Madill, brother of Dr. Mary Frances Madill. Walter will be sadly missed by his children Lynn (James), Scott (Debbie) and Lea-Anne (Carter) and grandchildren Karly and Jasper. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
