Catherine passed peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, to join her spiritual family: her Mother and Father, John and Catherine Gale, her brother Mac Gale, her sister Mary Dodd, her husband Bill Main, her son Jack Main and her grandson Andrew Cameron.
She leaves behind in this earthly world: her daughter, Mary Cameron(Jim), her grandchildren, Karen Main-Elliot (Scott), Cathy Payne(Mark) and Matthew Cameron, her great grandchildren, Alexander (Camiee), Jacob, Deanna, Marcus (Trish), Emily, AJ, and great, great grandchildren, Sophia and James.
Catherine will be missed by her nieces and nephews, and many friends. We will remember her kind heart, her easy acceptance of others, and her frequent laugh.
Mom was very happy and content to live her last 4 1/2 years at Heritage River Retirement Residence in Elora.
Visitation will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, Ontario. The service will take place at 1:00pm, a lunch to follow. Interment for family at 3:00 p.m. at the Elora Cemetery.
