MANAHAN, Felisa Lim

We are sadden to announce the sudden loss of Felisa Lim Manahan; a wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed, and will forever be remembered. Felisa Lim Manahan, 65, of Guelph, departed this life on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. Felisa is survived by her husband, Isaac; her daughter, Ivy Portia; and her grandson, Isaiah Felix. She will also be missed by her siblings in the Philippines, Renato and Julia along with their families; her niece, Christine, and brother-in-law, Jesse, in Canada, as well as their families. Predeceased by parents, Pedro Lim and Gloria Basco Lim. Thank you to our friends for the support and comfort that you have provided our family during this difficult time. Thank you to St. Joseph Hospital for the wonderful care Felisa received while in Emergency and in the ICU Unit. We would especially like to thank Dr. Treleavan (her renal MD), Dr. Cooke, Dr. Rudkowski (ICU MD), all the wonderful nurses and respiratory therapists, and the Chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, for visitation on Friday, August 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Parish, 45 Victoria Road N., Guelph, on Saturday, August 20th at 10 a.m. with interment at Marymount Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital (Hamilton) – Kidney Foundation, which was a charity close to Felisa’s heart.
