James Harvey of Eramosa Township, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday, April 18, 2016, in his 87th year at the Guelph General Hospital. Beloved husband of 61 years to Audrey (nee Pharoah). Cherished father of Colleen McDougall, Kathy Sawlor, Shari (Kevin) Walpole and Jay (Sheila) McDougall. Loving poppa of Matthew (Missy), Michael (Brittany), Brock, Jonathan, Ryan (Emily), Lynae (Danny), Madison (Derek), Aidan and Ty. Great Poppa Jim of Easton, Sutter and Hailey. Dear brother of the late Gordon (Gwen) McDougall, Margaret (the late Bruce) Schnurr, Ruth (Robert) Garbutt, Glenys (Ronald) Baxter, and Ernest (Judi) McDougall. Loving nephew of Jean Austin. Harvey will be fondly remembered by the Pharoah family, his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday (2-4 and 7-9 p.m.). Funeral service will be held at Royal City Baptist Church, 100 Ridgewood Ave., Guelph on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
