Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, in her 87th year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Lloyd McDougall (2015). Loving Mom to Doug (Marleen), Shirley Potter (the late Steve, 2009) and Donna Bond (the late Paul, 2009). Grandma will be sadly missed by grandchildren Matthew (Megan), Nathan (Kailyn) and Chris (Cassie), and great grandchildren Kinsey, Hayden and Brynnlee. Vera will be fondly remembered by Shirley’s friend Mario. Dear sister-in-law of Murray (Lois) McDougall and Eileen McDougall.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Monday, April 25 from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Vera’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Memorial contributions to Stone United Church or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated. Special thanks to Hospice Wellington for all the love and care they showed to Vera.
