Passed away peacefully, in his 73rd year, with his family by his side, at Guelph General Hospital, on Friday, December 14, 2018.
Gary was the beloved husband of Heather (nee Gillan) McEachern of Guelph. He was the loving father of Brenda Kuiack (Gord), Willie McEachern, Stacey Kuiack and Jordan McEachern. Gary was the proud grandfather of Ashlee, Tyler, Logan, Aiden, Payton and Brie. Cherished son-in-law of Doug and Pat Gillan. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. He was the dear brother of Rhona Thornhill and Barb (Harvey) Doherty. Gary was predeceased by his sister Faye Halladay (the late Bert) and by his brother-in-law Jim Thornhill.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Holiday Inn, 601 Scottsdale Drive, Guelph, on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
