McINNES, Donald (Don) James

It is with deep sorrow, but gratitude for a long life well-lived, that we announce the passing of Donald (Don) McInnes on Saturday, September 11, 2021. 
 
Don will be missed forever by his loving wife and best friend, Jean.  He is also in the hearts of his children. Kathi (Don) Rogers, Terri (Jeff) Neudorf, Donnie (Linda) McInnes and their children and grandchildren.  Also remembered fondly by his stepchildren Bonnie (Terry) McKenzie, Barbara Polanco, and Robert (Viviane) Gibson and their children.  Don is predeceased by his daughter Sandra and son-in-law Bob Nemcko. 
 
Thank you for the wonderful care provided at Guelph General Hospital by Dr. Raso and the amazing nursing staff on 5 East.
 
A private family service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.  Guests may attend remotely via Zoom by using the link on the funeral home website. A private interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
 
Memorial contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion, Col. John McCrae Memorial Branch 234, Guelph would be appreciated.
