Passed away peacefully, at home, with her family by her side on Monday, September 3, 2018. Ruby Mable (Edwards) Mckinney in her 83rd year, was the beloved wife of the late John L. Mckinney (2016). She was the loving mother of Robert Mckinney (Theresa) of Ottawa, Vicki Lusignan (Michael) of Guelph, and Kim Prevost (J. P.) of Blackfalds, Alberta. Ruby was the proud grandmother of Natalie (Chris), Kirstie, Stephanie, Andrew (Isabelle), Trevor, Nicholas and great-grandmother of Lily Anne. She was the dear sister of Mary Freeburn (Alvin), and Norman Edwards, and of the late Russell, Gerald, Olive, Evelyn, Hazel, and Ernest. Predeceased by her parents William O. Edwards and Mabel (Saltern) Edwards. Survived also by many nieces and nephews.
Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Rubys life will be held at her home, 32 Meadow Cres., Guelph, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated by the family.
