Of Guelph, formerly of North Bay, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, February 7, 2019, in her 94th year with her family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Dr. Francis Alexander “Mac” McKinnon (1974).
Loved mother of Laurie (James) Arkell, Robert (Brigitte) McKinnon, James (Nancy) McKinnon, Leslie McKinnon and the late Roderick McKinnon.
Loving grandmother of Aaron (Karla) Arkell, Jonathan (Laurie) Arkell, Elspeth (Clark) Sinclair, Nicholas Arkell, Allison McKinnon, Scott McKinnon, Steven McKinnon, Sebastian McKinnon, Liam McKinnon, Sam McKinnon, Renault McKinnon and the late Ben McKinnon.
Great grandmother of Ashton Arkell, Finley Arkell, Josephine Arkell and Elliott Arkell.
Dear sister of Robert McCullough, the late John McCullough and the late Joyce Grant.
Elizabeth was a proud Registered Nurse, teacher and caregiver to her family and many others.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Tuesday 4-8 pm. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:30 am. Reception to follow in the church hall. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 4 pm. There will be a celebration of Elizabeth’s life in North Bay in the spring.
