Passed away unexpectedly in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, which he considered his hometown, on Saturday, June 25th, 2016. Brendan Andrew McLaughlin, in his 27th year, continues to love and watch over his mom Rosemary, his father John, and his beloved Sarah and Aussie Shepherd Belle, his “little family”. Brendan is also survived by his brother Damian, sister Danielle, and his nephews Gabe and Carter.
Brendan was known for his qualities. He was an incredibly loyal, generous, honest, and funny man. He loved to love and be loved. As Uncle Brendan (“UB”), he was a mentor and dear friend to his nephew Gabe. Following the tradition of his lineage, he was a meticulous craftsman, who prided himself on his artistry and good reputation.
Visitation will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, ON, on Tuesday July 5, 2016 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A memorial service for Brendan will be held at the Dublin Chapel on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 12 p.m. followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Flowers are welcome and there will also be opportunity for donations to Canadian Mental Health Association in Brendan’s name.
