(1921-2019) – It is with great sadness that we announce that Georgina passed away peacefully at The Wellington Terrace on Monday, March 4, 2019 in her 98th year.
Georgina was the beloved wife of the late Donald Currie, the late Gerald McLellan and good friend of the late Bob Robertson.
Loving mother of Donna Burnett and her husband Jamie and the late Pauline Currie. Cherished Grandma of Kevin Burnett, Leanne Peters and Wade Currie-Wade.
She will be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren Caleb and Layla, her stepchildren Sandra and Susan and their families, and the family of the late Bob Robertson. Dear sister of Vernon Douglas Alexander.
Predeceased by her parents George and Sara Alexander, and her siblings Gertrude, Murray, Lloyd, Ivan, Jean, Nellie, Marguerite and Kathleen.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday from 12 noon -1:30 pm. Memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
